Facebook is building a new AI supercomputer. The specs include 760 DGX A100 AI compute units and eight NVIDIA A100 GPUs in each unit for a total of 6,080 GPUs for the entire supercomputer. Once complete, RSC will pack a total of 16,000 GPUs with an additional 1,240 DGX nodes.
Meta has announced that they've designed and built the AI Research SuperCluster (RSC) — which we believe is among the fastest AI supercomputers running today and will be the fastest AI supercomputer in the world when it’s fully built out in mid-2022.
