Intel’s Asha Keddy Discusses Future Communications Infrastructure

In a blog on the Technology@Intel site, Asha Keddy, Intel corporate vice president and general manager of Next Generation and Standards, writes about the future of communications infrastructure. As network traffic increases, with ABI Research reporting an 80% increase in upload traffic in April, service providers are evolving and optimizing their networks to meet this exploding volume of date and diverse network streams. To provide solutions that help them meet this challenge in an agile and cost-effective way, Intel has teamed up with NTT under a joint research agreement to define and create future communications infrastructure technologies that meet network demands needed in the near future.
