The Senate is voting on amendments to H.R. 6172, which would reauthorize intelligence-related authorities such as “lone wolf” and the “roving wiretap” authority that expired on March 15.
H.R. 6172 as drafted reauthorizes three expired Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) authorities: Section 215 of the USA PATRIOT Act, the “lone wolf” authority, and the “roving wiretap” authority.
