According to this article, Intel Xe DG1 discrete GPU silicon is alive and being validated in Intel’s labs.
Intel has said that it plans to enter the discrete GPU space sometime in 2020. To do so, the company would need to have working silicon in-house already to begin validation testing and qualification. And at this point, it appears the company is on track to deliver.
