I know Russian law is different from the laws here in our country but this seems like a stretch. Why not just cut off the internet like Iran did a couple years ago?
Russia is intensifying its pressure on Google to censor political dissent in the country. Media overseer Roskomnadzor has sent a letter to Google insisting that it stop promoting "illegal mass events" on YouTube.
