Blockbuster Games Go All the Ray at E3

Ray tracing, only made possible a year ago with the introduction of GeForce RTX graphics cards, is taking the gaming industry by storm with blockbuster after blockbuster announcing support. Quake II RTX, Battlefield V, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Metro Exodus and Stay in the Light (early access) are shipping with ray-tracing support. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Sword and Fairy 7 recently joined the list of hit games that will be using ray tracing. This week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, in Los Angeles, highly anticipated blockbusters Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs: Legion stepped into the ray-tracing spotlight.
