Get your rig ready because North America’s largest LAN party is set to return to Dallas for its 22nd year. QuakeCon 2017 will take place August 24–27 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. An annual celebration of games and the people who play them, QuakeCon was founded in 1996 and has grown to become a major event that draws fans from around the globe. More than 10,000 gamers attended last year’s festivities, participating in the LAN party and partaking in a wide range of activities, panels, tournaments, workshops and exhibits from leading tech companies showcasing the newest hardware and gaming accessories. Over the years, attendees have also been treated to exclusive presentations and hands-on for several of Bethesda’s upcoming games, including DOOM, Dishonored 2, Quake Champions and more.
