We are doing limited production runs of [H]ardOCP hats, these are pretty damn nice, one size fits all. The hats will sell out in less than a day...two max. But from time to time we will make hats available for sale. I am kicking around the idea of Hypothermia hats...not for sale, but as giveaway items. Maybe I will do shirts first and then hats, we will see how it goes.

More Sponsorship -Steve
A huge thank you goes out to the fine folks at ATI for stepping up and sponsoring the Killer Gaming Rig #8, making sure that the baddest computer giveaway on the planet, also has the baddest video card on the planet, the Radeon 9700 Pro.

Here are some new spiral blocks for you guys to feast your eyes on. I am putting together a large water block round-up and these plopped into my lap. Good stuff, have a look. I'll have them reviewed soon and let you know how they perform.

I am kicking off the latest "One-A-Day" contest with out Corsair-A-Day DDR Memory Giveaway! Sweet... I have a nice shiny stick of DDR memory to give away each day for the next five days. This'll give you guys something to do in while you are waiting to see if you have won that ass kicking Killer Gaming Rig #8. Hit the link to win!!!

Weekend Stuff -Steve
We have some Corsair memory to give away in our next "One A Day" contests starting this week. We would also like to welcome Yamaha as a sponsor of our contests and giveaways here at Hypothermia. Something to keep in mind, the companies you see offering prizes for our contest are some of the best companies in the business...they receive nothing for their donations, other than the recognition for being a company that gives back to the people that support them...you guys. Oddly enough, these are things I keep in mind when I buy new products, cause I sure as hell won't give my money to companies that never give back to the community...that's for sure.

Only three more Friday's left before I chose a lucky winner for the Killer Gaming Rig #8. I have listed the current specs, and I only have a handful of items left to round up, so get in it the contest and win something dammit!!

Fun Stuff -Steve
This unit is for testing, not for contest or giveaway...but how many people here would like to see a VapoChill on the next Killer Gaming Rig, or maybe a sub-zero PC giveaway all together? Shoot me a line and let me know.

Aluminum fans coupled with a chrome radiator sure makes for a very nice looking setup for your water cooled system, does it not? I like to mount my radiators externally, so it is extremely important for my stuff to look as good as it performs.

10.20.02 -Steve
I have been bombed with "HOW THE HELL..." questions about water cooling a GameCube. Almost every single person seems to think it will be impossible. Well, here are two pictures that will help everyone see it will be far easier than you think. I have a dual pump reservoir set up, and a cooling plate that will replace the "All-In-One" heatsink that covers the processor-video-memory, and a few tricks up my sleeve with the radiator fan setup that will allow me to put everything in a 4" add-on. Sweet.

10.17.02 -Steve
We have a little DDR Memory action coming your way in the next one a day for a week contest. The great people at Corsair are kicking in and hooking you guys up with some of the best memory on the planet. Nice....hmmm, what other stuff would you guys like to see given away? Processors next? Video cards again? Power supply? What do you guys really want to see given away?

Xbox Lan Action -Steve
You know, not enough can be said about a little Xbox Lan Action on the weekends. When you are laid up like me, and setting up a real LAN takes too much effort, an Xbox LAN hits the spot. My friends Justin and Chad usually pack up their stuff and head over, we set it up to where everyone has their own big T.V. to game on, and we kick a little Halo ass, or just demo all the new games. Pretty damn fun.

Something everyone asks is how I play the Xbox on the PC, well it's easy. with an Xbox A/V Pack you run the audio into a splitter cable then into the microphone jack on your sound card. You run the S/Video cable into your GeForce4 S/Video IN header. Make sure you have the NVIDIA WDM drivers installed. Use Intervideo Wincoder to view the incoming signal, and you are set.

Projects -Steve
My top secret GameCube project is coming along nicely as well...I'm waiting on a few custom components then maybe I'll share a few pictures. I am also revamping the Water Cooled Xbox mod, I have a dead Xbox on the way from Kyle and I have big plans for it....stay tuned.

Contest Updates -Steve
Finally got the last of the "RMA a Day" stuff shipped to the winners...and for the first time in a very long time, all prizes were claimed within the time limit, and not a single dead e-mail address. Imagine that...whoa. We have some memory coming up as a big giveaway here soon...and I'll have the KGR 8 info updated soon too.
