Today's Random Thought

When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

It looks like I might actually end up winning the eBay auctions below for those autographed games, which is actually a shocker. I thought for sure that someone would be dying to get their hands on those autographed games. Judging by the e-mail I have gotten, there is a ton of interest in them but miraculously no one has out bid me...odd. Oh well, my bids are in (
I'm not bidding again to be fair) and it looks like unless someone else bids $200 each for those, I will end up adding two more to my collection. People are probably just waiting until the end of the auction to jump in and bid. SEE LINKS BELOW:

One of the guys that won three different autographed games from us here at Hypothermia over two years ago is selling them on EBAY:

autographed copy of Quake 3 &
autographed copy of Quake 3 Team Arena
autographed copy of Star Trek: Elite Forces

The original winner has contacted me and let me know that due to financial hardship he is auctioning them off. These are AWESOME collectors items, there were only 3 of each of these autographed games in existence ( I should know, I am the one who gave them away ). Check out the auctions and grab a piece of gaming history... before I do!!! I have my bid in, but I really want one of you guys to have these, so get your bid in!

I am having a blast with all my old X-men comics now that I have completed my collection of all the X-men comics from #1 thru #350. I auctioned off over 110 comics last week and this week I am auctioning off a Giant Size X-Men #1, the first appearance of the new X-men, that has been graded Fine/Very Fine by CGC. I am selling off these doubles (
comics I have more than one of ) to finance the cost of grading my whole collection.

Apparently you guys really,
really, really liked that picture of Asia in the HardOCP t-shirt I posted a month or so ago. Little did you know that for every one picture of Asia you see here, there is more you don't see! So here are a few of the ones you didn't see before...enjoy!

I thought this was pretty funny. Someone brought to my attention that the winner of the KGR #11 has the same first name as that 15 year old kid three years ago that won the KGR #4. Coincidence? I dunno...maybe you should change your name to Jared to increase your odds of winning! Ummm, waitaminute...what are the chances of that happening three times? Better leave your name the same for right now.

I have received confirmation from the winner of the Killer Gaming Rig #11 and the system will ship out Monday. Congrats to Jared M. in Seattle Washington. Went to see Van Helsing today and it was well worth the money to go see it...a ton of action. As always, the critics gave it horrible rating (
any time a critic rates a movie low it means you should automatically go see it) and it is expected to rake in $60 million this weekend. Then again, the critics gave both The Mummy, and The Mummy Returns (same director as Van Helsing) horrible ratings and those two movies combined have made almost $850 million world wide...not counting DVD sales. Just goes to show you what critics know!!!

Hopefully everyone had a safe Cinco De Mayo, I am sure there are more than a few of you hung over out there. All the Halo Edition X-box consoles are heading out to winners today. I will draw a name for the Killer Gaming Rig #11 tomorrow though, so make sure you get your name in the hat!
