Asia Update -Steve
I just can't seem to keep this damn woman out of my clothes....heh, not that 90% of the entire male population wouldn't KILL to have the lovely Asia wearing their clothes....I thought I'd just brag .

Thu 6.28.01 -Steve
Got my stuff in from Abit for the next giveaway. . . sweet. I am tying up the ColdCPU giveaway finally. And as a little teaser for an upcoming BIG giveaway. . . I will show you the components I have so far to put in my Ice Blue, Beyond Cool Giveaway coming up. I just got my new anodized blue reservoir in from Overclockers Hideout. . . mmmmm, and for everyone who asked "where'd you get that BLUE MEMORY" heh, that would be the cool mofo's at First Choice Memory.. ( heh... my first choice...get it ;^)

Not pictured are the blue IDE rounded cables, Blue thumbcrews, Blue fan grills from So-Trickcomputers  and the NetGear Blue Network card I ordered. . . schweeet. This is all going into a clear computer case. I think the next system will be all RED.

The fine folks at Koolance have provided a schpanky new Koolance case for my next giveaway like the one pictured here. So if you've always wanted to be a watercooled fool, now is the time to try to win something here. . . what the hell, if 15yr olds can do it. . . . so can YOU!!!

ENTER  HERE

also, we have chosen the Autographed Giants winner.

KGR 4 WINNER -Steve
What would you do with a 1600MHz, GeForce3 powered, 256mb, 60gb RAID'd, Watercooled , Abit Surround Sounded, Flat Panel Monitor... bad-ass Machine like the Killer Gaming Rig 4??

Now. . . imagine your almost 15yrs old!!!

I am not kidding... I was just contacted by Jared M.'s parents, who will be helping their son claim his prize!! Holy Crap! This badder than BAD system is being shipped out by the end of the week. Whoa. . . this is too funny!!! I went through and counted all the entries for this system, there were a total of 181,234 entries. Jared had a total of 141 entries ( one entry per day / per email address ) , meaning he had a 1 in 1285 chance of winning.

While we anxiously await the winner of the KGR4 ( still waiting for the winner to confirm !!! LOL!! ) I have a little side project of mine that I want to show you. I have taken a few of the RatPadz we all know and love around here..... and hacked them up and turned them into common. indestructible furniture. This "stand" will eventually evolve into another project I am working on. . . but the finished product as it sits today, is pretty damn spiffy too. . . check it out:

A little recommended reading today. . . and article by Joel Durham Jr. over at Extreme Tech that basically gives you a history / why / how-to on overclocking. A fantastic article, very well written, and even includes a little info on me and my system.

Mon 6.11.01 -Steve
O.K. guys, I will be kicking off some more giveaway stuff soon, and I have some more interview action coming your way shortly as well. . . In the meantime, I am looking for a case ( don't even ask what for ;^) it's a super cheap case, we're talking $25.00. . . I just need to know where to get one for a project. So quit laughing.

I am waiting on the motherboards right now. Very cool stuff. . once I get it together...I'll give it away.

Well, with the lift on the non-disclosure agreement from AMD today, I can finally tell you guys that the AMD processor supplied by AMD for the Killer Gaming Rig 4 was the 1.4GHz Thunderbird. It's humming right along at 1.66GHz as we speak. Also confirmed today is the Visiontek GeForce3 supplied by the fantastic bunch at Visiontek. Abit has also stepped up and donated the final item, the SP60 Surround Sound Speakers! ! !  Very cool news for you guys hoping to win the KGR4. I will be selecting a winner as soon as Kyle is back from Computex 2001. In the mean time... GET IN IT, TO WIN IT!!!!

Mon 6.04.2001 -Steve
Firing up a new contest today, I am giving away a bunch of autographed Asia Carrera memorabilia.... I hate to part with it, but I know you guys would appreciate it far more than I would. So lets get this one started, shall we???

Sat 6.02.2001 -Steve
Picked the latest set of winners from our contest page, and I am happy to say, Kyle Kronyak will finally get his stuff this week too ( had to be resent . . . Kyle's fault, not mine ;^) So we have room for more contest action for sure. Maybe we'll get rid of the autographed Asia memorabilia.
