It is national SysAdmin Day. Do something nice for your sysadmin today, buy him/her a coffee or a donut. If you can't find anything nice to say or do for your sysadmin today, not crashing the network today will be thanks enough.

Remind me to tell you guys a funny story about PR people. I am thinking about doing an editorial on the world of PR because I don't think most people understand the way it works, how complicated some companies make it. A lot of big companies, I won't name names yet, use PR firms to handle all their public relations. The problem is that PR people are paid to get the word out on the products offered by the company the represent but, more often than not, they are a hindrance...not a help.

Alrighty, I think we have it all hammered out. Everyone should see all the updates from here on out.

We are still experiencing issues with updates showing on the site...that is the bad news. The good news is that we WILL have it worked out this weekend.

Processor and LCD Hunt -Steve
I gave away my Athlon64 X2 processor in the KGR contest so I need a new one for a personal system upgrade. Anyone selling one (or know of a good deal on one) drop me a line and let me know. I also had one of my 19" LCDs go out on me after a power surge. The remaining LCD is severely dimmed now as well so I need to get a new pair so keep your eyes peeled for good deals for me.

I know what you are thinking and, before say anything....yes, it kinda sucks that I give away PC hardware that is 10x better than what I personally own. But the feeling I get from giving away cool stuff far outweighs the enjoyment of keeping the hardware. Anyhow, If you know where I can find the things I need (for personal use), let me know.
