Trying to hurry a few of my latest interviews
along, it always takes me awhile to get these put together once I get
the actual interview done though. I am working on some autographed Max
Payne for you freaks too. I think a little Asia info is due soon. . .
been awhile since I have publicly flaunted her soopa hot geekiness
around here, so it's about time. My wife, Asia and I all have a birthday
coming up in August too...w00t!!! ( w-o-o-t stands for
we're-old-old-timers ).
A big huge Thank You
to all the well wishers, my back is completely hosed for the time being.
And I don't see any end to all this in the near future, thanks to the
cool scumbags at my companies insurance company. That is a long story in
itself. BAH!!!!

I finally got the Koolance off to a new winner. . .

Still really screwed up. . . but I finished up a
few things before I got the ol' "Needle of Love" from the
Doctor, and one of them was getting the All Blue PC up and running so
that it is ready to roll when the Clear Case comes in from ClearPC...
I can't wait. This is gonna make someone very happy. I also have a
pretty good hunch the Killer Gaming Rig 5 will start soon...and it might
even be a P4 Powered System... a first here!!! I might even have a
Poll up to see how many people would like to win a P4 based KGR.

I am in a very LARGE amount of pain from my
procedure day before yesterday. I can barely get around. I have some
hella good stuff for you guys though... I'm staring at it right here. I
will reopen the Koolance Case for one day only in the next day or so...I
need someone to win it...who will claim it ;^)
I just wanted to say that
it SUCKS to have a needle stuck all the way into your spine. And it
sucks even worse that when a "Guy" gets hurt, no one sends you
flowers... or bouquets of beer or something.

Been pretty busy lately, and I go in tomorrow morning to have a huge
needle stuck in my back in hopes of making it better.... UGH. Our
Koolance winner only has one more day to respond before the unit
will be back up for grabs... I am gonna fire up my 1.7GHz AMD powered
machine and get in on some of the Fastest
Webmaster action over at MadOnion. I have submitted a score of 6472
@ 1.6GHz so far and holding off on my highest score of 6791 in case the
competition gets rough....but am still tweaking it some more...we'll see. Here's some 1.7GHz
AMD numbers for you from a review I recently finished.

O.K. I have closed up the Asia Carrera Memorabilia Contest, and I am
also awaiting confirmation on the Koolance Case winner. In the meantime.
. . I am breaking out the tried and true "Choose our Next
Giveaway!!!" . . . it works pretty well, and I have a lot of stuff

An unexpected "boatload of work" just
got dumped in my lap by the *cough* cool people at The Counter. Back in
the day, when the site was new and MUCHO smaller, I installed a FREE
counter from The Counter .
What it consists of is cutting and pasting a chunk of HTML into your
page and it will count / display your hits. As the site grew I upgraded
my account to a paying account. As time went on and the site grew more
and more, I switched hosts etc. and I have been using Webtrends
( a much better service ) to track
my site statistics ever since. I never went back through the 300+ pages
on this site, and removed the HTML for The Counter since it would've been a huge pain in the ass.
Yesterday, while checking
the site, I noticed a HUGE ugly little button at the bottom of my page
displaying my "hit count". I went to modify the
"style" of counter only to find that The
Counter had totally revamped their site, my counter is now locked
until I *cough* upgrade to a better, more expensive account service.
Since my site is generating an average of 5 million page views a month,
it would be quite a bit more expensive.
So...the moral of the
story is...I am now forced to remove the old code from every stinking
page in the site...by hand. DOH!! I should've done it a long time ago,
so this serves me right. Why I even kept it so long was just laziness...
now it will take a lot of work to get it out. Hehe. . procrastination
sucks.
I will have some contest

this weekend as well, letting you guys choose what is given away next.

Finished up some more contest stuff, and located
the missing Giants Game. . . .lost in transit, being replaced, and is on
its way. I have a buncha interview stuff coming with the likes of Pat
Lipo as well as a confirmation from Tom Mustaine. The blue PC is coming
right along. . . except I need one of them Blue Anodized Enermax units
donated... hmmmmm....

HAPPY 4th of July!!! I will get some of this
contest stuff wrapped up ( the missing autographed Giants Game )
and get some of my long awaited interviews rolling again. I have our
buddy, Pat Lipo from Raven coming up real soon too. . .ought to be fun!!

Holy Moly... what a week. I am sure you guys
remember when I posted the story last month
about getting hurt on my job, right?? And the part about having all the
CAT Scans an MRI's done. . . well, this is what my back looks like
now...
You have to
keep in mind, when you are viewing this. . . I was laying down in the
machine with no weight on my lower back. It is much worse when I am in
an upright position ( standing or sitting ), and excruciating when I
bend forward. Kinda funny looking at how nice and clear my other disks
are, then look at the bad on...UGH. I have a few extra mm in the
ol' spine curve at the bottom now don't I?? Heh. . . sucks ;^(

I just can't seem to keep this damn woman out of my clothes....heh, not
that 90% of the entire male population wouldn't KILL to have the lovely
Asia wearing their clothes....I thought I'd just brag  .
