I am looking into a couple high end GeForce 7800 cards to run in SLI for
the next Killer Gaming Rig giveaway. Last time you guys went nuts over
those two 6800GT SLI XFX cards I used BUT, those were donated and
this time (unless someone steps up)
they will be coming out of my pocket… so I might be limited to just one
card this time around. I also need to round up 2GB of DDR memory and a
big fat LCD monitor and then I am done! If you have any leads on the
parts I need, don't be shy...let
me know!

I have never been a fan of Xanga or MySpace style blogs...they just
aren't my style. Besides, Hypothermia is my "blog" anyway...for lack of
a better term. Then I got invited (like
100 times) to start a page over
at 1Up. The reason given was the oldest one in the book "all the cool
kids are doing it...even CliffyB" (I
swear someone actually said that to me).
So I broke down a week ago and made a 1Up page...just so I would have
one and so that no one else would in my name!! Go check it out and have
a good laugh at my expense!

Gaming Rig:

I going to start on a new Killer Gaming Rig as well...I need to round up
the hardware for another big, bad machine, but as killer as the last few
have been, it will be hard to top them.

I had great luck running down a couple Xbox 360s, so...if all goes well,
I will be able to have a Xbox 360 giveaway here soon for you guys. These
will come straight from the store to you, I am working on a few
accessories for each package so we can do a couple bundle giveaways.

Where Are
They Now?

I have been getting our stuff in order for this year's E3...you know,
passes, hotel and all that stuff and that led to me thinking about all
the cool people I
met at past E3s. it got me wondering WHAT THE HELL
has happened to everyone? In the last 5 years, Hypothermia has went on
to great success, to the point where I primarily just hand out free
stuff all year long. [H]ard|OCP has never been better and we are
on the verge of launching [H]Console, a brand new gaming website, but
everyone else seems to just be fading away.
Seriously, look around at
all the sites you used to visit 5 years ago...where are they now?

You guys rock! I have been contacted by the fine folks at the
Electronic Frontier Foundation
and they can put me in touch with the RIAA Mom through her former
attorney. As soon as I can get everything together, figured out I will
probably put something together for her so we can all help her take on
the RIAA. I'll have more info soon.
