APOLOGY -Steve
As many of you might have heard at [H]ardOCP, due to circumstances beyond my control ( crap-tacular ISP ) I have been without a cable modem or dial-up service for almost a week. The Killer gaming rig contest is scheduled to launch Monday the 4th. I will also be starting our next batch of giveaways at that time as well.

I have over 470 e-mail that need to be filtered through, if you sent me something that was extremely important, PLEASE feel free to resend it. I have taken steps to make sure I am never without a connection to the internet again....UGH!!!

Sun 01.28.02 -Steve

That leaves this weeks contest ready to roll Monday morning...we are doing a "Hardware a Day Giveaway". Kids Computers -Steve
After my little revelation the other day about how I get all the stuff to give away....more people asked me about what is in my families computers. Well, here is a quick rundown of my children's computers which should give you an idea of what kind of computers my family has.

My 6yr old son has:

1800+ AthlonXP running at 1700MHz, completely watercooled top to bottom, MSI nForce Motherboard, GeForce4 Ti4400, 80GB WD ATA133 Hard Drive, Dual 19" Monitors, 512MB Corsair PC 2700, 16X Pioneer DVD, Plextor 24X CDRW,Red rounded wires, Red Cold Cathode lighting. Xoxide custom windowed case.

My 13yr old daughter has:

2.2GHz Pentium4 Socket 478 400MHz fsb CPU, ABIT BD7 RAID motherboard, ATi Radeon All-In-Wonder,  80GB WD ATA133 Hard Drive, 21" KDS Monitor, 512MB Corsair PC 2700, 16X Pioneer DVD, Blue Cold Cathode lighting. Xoxide custom windowed case.

Killer Gaming Rig VI -Steve
That's right, you heard me, the Killer Gaming Rig VI is in the works....I will set up the contest page and get things ready to roll here over the next week so you can start signing up to win. You'll remember the last KGR was running at 2.4GHz powered by the Radeon 8500.... all I can say, is the KGR VI is going to blow that one away!!!

Mon 01.21.02 -Steve
I have a ton of things going on right now, I am in the middle of finishing up a watercooling article for a print magazine. Very cool experience indeed. I am rounding up some hardware for next weeks contests...I am going to give away a prize every day for a week again. Look for that after the final Xbox package is won on Friday.

Something that I think is pretty entertaining...I have been attempting to grow a beard for the hell of it, and my wife hates it. So, naturally I turn to the other worlds hottest woman, Asia Carrera and ask her opinion of my new scruff...her words exactly were " ...personally, I hate facial hair, because it's no fun to kiss a brillo pad where soft lips are supposed to be." It's a damn conspiracy I tell you!!! So for all you guys whom want to really impress Asia...I got two words for you "Gillette Razor"

Questions -Steve
For some reason people ask me the most bizarre stuff on the planet, most of the strange stuff is related to my personal life and not so much my public life. The most common question is "How do you get all the stuff you give away??". Well, 60% comes from begging, I pound my fingers flat on the keyboard sending out requests to all the popular computer hardware companies asking for sponsorship. I get 25% from products I have reviewed ....so I put it to good use by having contests to give it away. The other 15% come out of my pocket....

More Xbox Action -Steve
We have our alternate winner chosen for the Xbox package and we are awaiting confirmation...whew. This opens the way for us to post the last Xbox package up for grabs, which will run until next Friday since we went half way through the week waiting on a a winner for the last giveaway. Just a reminder...if you use multiple e-mail addresses to enter the contests, keep track of them. I have more interview action coming up as well...I have some Jedi Knight II stuff lined up, some Ritual Entertainment goodies and some Unreal 2 action all coming your way here soon. In the meantime...get in the contest and WIN YOURSELF THE LAST XBOX PACKAGE!!!
