A little more contest action for you, my buddies at IBM DeveloperWorks has offered up a couple of ATA100 30GB Hard drives for giveaway. . . yeah baby, you can never have too much storage. So if that MP3 collection is getting TOO big or the pr0n er... uh, family photo collection is taking up too much space, you NEED to enter this contest. Today marks one year that Hypothermia has been here. . . . one hell of a year for sure. There are so many highlights and amazing things that have happened to me, I can't name "just one". Put it this way, I have met damn near every person that I admire in this industry, I have rubbed elbows with the likes of Ice T, interviewed Emilio Estevez, met and became friends with Asia Carrera, made fun of Coolio. . .I have given away more hardware than damn near anyone I can think of, the autographed games, the interviews....etc. 

I could spontaneously combust tomorrow and be totally proud of the year I have had. . . amazing. I am proud to have each and every one of you visit my page everyday, and I'll be bustin' ass to make sure this year is even better for you guys too. If you wonder just how far this site has come, look at last January RIGHT HERE.

I have an interview with The Project Lead from Oni, Michael Evans. . . I should have that up very soon, and will be giving away some copies of Oni as well. Damn we kick ass around here. I just want to point out that in 5 days, it will be my one year anniversary of being online with Hypothermia. It's been a hell of a year, let me tell you.

I will have the Abit MoBo winners listed on Monday as well. . . took me awhile, I had a few stragglers and one winner had to be replaced ( no response ) so some lucky guy/gal that KEPT entering won themselves a nice Abit MoBo for being persistent!!! Hold on tight. . . it's coming soon.

In the "KINDA FUNNY DEPT." I have been online now for a year with Hypothermia ( Jan 25th ) and our local radio station here KWHL ( K-Whale ) has finally figured out that Hypothermia was a local site and linked me as SITE OF THE WEEK. . . 

I'll tell you what, a couple million hits, bustin my ass getting you guys the coolest interviews on the net and even cooler prizes, mix in some fine ass babes that are into computers ( one being a famous porn star ;^) for a year now. . . finally paid off, maybe I'll be on the morning show ;^p

Just a small 'blurb' about the whole UGO thing going on around the internet. There are stories on the ShugaShack and at  also at Gamers.com that outline what is going on, and while it may effect a LOT of sites, it actually doesn't effect Hypothermia in any way. I think the whole "shake-down" on the web thing ( C|Net, GameFan, MaximumPC ) is bad all the way around for the industry, but as a whole, the really good sites will always be around.
