You know, I started Hypothermia over 5 years ago as a way to give
something back to the community that supports us (here and at HardOCP)
because it just seemed like the right thing to do. I use what little
"celebrity" I have in the computer world to gather up as much
free stuff as I can to hand out to you guys on a weekly basis. Why? Because,
in a nut shell, it makes me feel pretty damn good.
The truth of the matter is
that most huge hardware sites have more stuff laying around than we know
what to do with. You can only have so many high-end computers, only so
many motherboard, video cards and CPUs laying around before you decide
to start giving back to the people that support you....YOU GUYS!! Anyhow, I do
the things I do because I think it is only right to give back to the community
that supports us AND, with any luck, the trend will catch on. In the
mean time, I am more than happy doing what I am doing. As always, a HUGE
thanks to all of you. Now hit the contest links below and win something
damn it!!!

Just a few days until we kick off our first charity drive of 2005
(Friday the 25th). I have a pretty kick ass system lined up, five
7" Insignia DVD players and a handful of autographed goodies for
those of you who participate. We want to raise money for school kids in
need of coats / jackets / back packs. A huge thanks to Wal-Mart for
their efforts and continued community support.

We finally have our interview with the Frag Dolls from late last year
posted. Our server issues kept us from posting it until now but it is
finally ready...so GO CHECK
IT OUT!!!

Just so you know, I am lining up 5 of these Insignia
7" TFT 16:9 widescreen portable DVD players as
secondary prizes for the donation drive on the 25th. So one person will
walk away with a computer, 5 people with a DVD player and 20 people with
autographed memorabilia. That makes your odds of walking away with
something pretty damn good.

I am close to totally striking out on a LCD for the Killer Gaming Rig
#13. This will be the first time in history that I have not been able to
get a nice monitor for a KGR giveaway, but I have a few tricks up my
sleeve so don't despair!
