AMD Stuff -Steve
Got some top secret AMD action going on today, pictured here are two brand new AMD CPU's, the "Morgan Core" Duron and the soon to be announced AthlonXP. Pretty spiff-tacular stuff if you ask me. ( and yes..the core on the AXP is "flashed out on purpose...

I finally put the BluePC into a case so I can have a contest and we can give this thing away...If it seems like it has taken a longtime...well, I apologize...it has. I have been waiting for one of TWO companies that were suppose to send a Clear case for the BluePC to be housed in. Both companies left me hanging, so I ham giving up my own PERSONAL clear Lexan case...reworked with all the Blue components in it. I will fire up this contest as soon as we finish up the IBM Had drive giveaways this week... but here's a peek.

*UPDATE* For those of you wondering, Clearview Technologies was the one that GAVE me the case originally, not one of the abovementioned companies. AND ClearPC also contacted me and let me know there was a few minor shipping problems that delayed the case from making it here...but it is on it's way. Coolness...

Well...you may remember last week I was complaining that the moronic construction company that digs up our electricity and cable twice a week...well the did it good this time. I will be a 56k kinda guy for the next few days until they get this straightened out... sucks.

I did however get all the Celeron 850 winners notified so we can move on to the 30gb HD's for a week contest ;^) I have also finished up the BluePC ( kinda...)

Well, I thought I'd update everyone on what my wife got for her Birthday. . . being somewhat of a animal person ( she works with animals ) and we have a variety of lizards now ( Madagascar Day Gecko's, Leopard Gecko's, a Water Dragon...) I thought that this was just the perfect addition to the family...

HAH!!! Sometimes you just can't catch a break. . . there I was just working away at the [H] when all the sudden...no internet connection?? WTH?? Sure enough...I get up, wander over to check the cable modem, no signal. Damn, I hobble back to the room to call the Cable company, and I lose all power ( electricity ) to the house as well. The moronic construction company that is rebuilding the High School in our neighborhood had dug up a cable. I spent most of my Birthday with no cable modem or power to the house. Just lovely . Power is on...but the cable modem is going in and out now.

Hopefully we have power all day today...since today is my wife's Birthday now too. Yes...we are one day apart ;^)

Well, tomorrow I will be 33yrs old.... ARGHH...but, to show you that I am a good sport about becoming old and crusty, I have rounded up some of the greatest products on the planet for giveaway. No kidding. I am also going to re-start my famous "A Product a Day for a Week" contests. I will be doing the Celeron a Day for a Week first, then hard drives and other stuffs next... get in this contest and win an 850MHz Intel Celeron:

I ended the KT7E Contest finally, I got all the winner's boards out to them...had a little glitch ( someone entering 150,000+ times...heh no kidding ) that I finally got settled. But all is good now.

Weekend -Steve
Been taking it easy this weekend doing some really "light" messing around....I jumped on a pair of these blue anodized fan adapters from OverClockers Hideout. HELLA SCHWEET. . . I know I don't hardly ever use products like they were intended...but that is the fun of it. If you don't like these on your CPU fan...then try them out on your case. I will be using these on the upcoming Clear Blue PC as soon as the final piece (the case) comes in from ClearPC.... yeah baby.

Thu 8.09.01 -Steve
6 more days and I'll be 33yrs old... UGH!! I have some AWESOME giveaways coming up. We will be doing a Hard Drive A Day For A Week, then a Celeron  A Day For A Week after that...or vice versa...it don't matter. It's up to you guys really. Let me know what you want ;^). I also need to get my hands on a wireless keyboard and mouse setup...preferably black ( for the home theater set up ). I wanna hear your experiences with different wireless set ups.

Home Stuff -Steve
I have some interesting stuff for you. . . I recently finished my HOME ENTERTAINMENT system, and I am seriously enjoying the DVD with Surround Sound , surfing the web ( with cable modem access too ;^) and playing games, or online gaming all from my couch. Awesome, and I recommend it to everyone... build your OWN home entertainment system, instead of shelling out BIG buck, for a DVD / Surround System, and it still can do the web, or the games / online gaming etc.

the strange part is having to put all 500+ VHS movies of ours up for sale, since we will be switching to DVD. I figured I'd offload the whole bunch for like $2.00 a movies, and I'd pay the shipping.. If you want to see what that many movies looks like, as well as a COMPLETE LIST of the movies...click here.

In case most of you don't know. . . it is our buddy, Asia Carrera's Birthday today!!! Hypothermia's HOTTEST friend turns 28 today. So join me in wishing her a Happy Birthday, and thanking her for all the support she has shown Hypothermia and myself ...

Happy Birthday Asia!!!

Weekend -Steve
Weekend stuff coming up... I have been getting a few things ready around here for upcoming giveaways with GREAT companies like Hercules, Intel, EPoX, Koolance, Asus and more. I have been busy. Throw in the upcoming interviews and such, and this might just be an interesting month. And before anyone says anything funny...Yes, on the 15th of this month is my birthday, I turn 33.... good lord, I'm dying

re-arranging the work area out here too...I'm getting cramped. I have already moved the wife's system to our bedroom upstairs, each of the kids have their in their room now, and the "entertainment center" computer is up in the livingroom and I still don't have any room. So I have decided to re-do everything out in my area...and eventually CLEAN THIS MESS UP!!!!

Thu 8.02.02 -Steve
I have been dinking around lately with that Espresso PocketPC I have. . .600MHz, 64mb, 6gb was the original configuration. Even though it is small enough to fit in your pocket, it was kinda wussy by today's standards, so I am beefing it up, making it a "QuadShot Espresso"!!! Heh... I made that up.

KGR 5 Update -Steve
I am looking for a little input. . . actually, a lot of input. Every Killer Gaming Rig to date has been an AMD Powered machine. Mainly due to the fact that AMD has always been a big supporter of the hardware/gaming community and have always been right there with sponsorship. Well, we have the opportunity, ONLY IF there is significant interest, to have a Pentium 4 powered Killer Gaming Rig.

It is as easy as submitting your vote here if you would like to see a Pentium 4 Powered Machine. . . or Continue with an AMD KGR5!!! You make the call!!!
