Isn't this the case with every iPhone launch? The rumor mill whips everyone into a frenzy only to disappoint come launch day. Apple has always been late to market with features other phones have had for months (or longer) only to proclaim they invented it, or its a "world's first."
Instead what the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro offered were ... more incremental camera improvements along the lines of what Android phones already offer.
