Remember this guy? For those of you not up to speed, this is the scumbag behind the Infinium Labs Phantom console. The very same guy that sued us for telling the truth (and lost). Apparently he just couldn't stop scamming people and now he is going to prison. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
A federal judge in Tampa on Friday sentenced Timothy Roberts, founder and CEO of the now-defunct Savtira Corp. in Ybor City, to six-and-a-half years in federal prison. Roberts, who pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud in January 2017, also was ordered to pay $5.8 million in restitution to victims jointly and severally with Terrance Taylor, who was Savtira's chief financial officer.
