Corsair Dominator Platinum Special Edition Torque DDR4

I've said it before and I'll say it again, while I love Corsair, whomever thought using this effect on their memory doesn't know a damn thing about "high performance engines." In collector car / muscle car / motorcycle enthusiast circles, bluing is an extremely undesirable effect caused by extremely high heat on poor quality stainless steel and chrome exhaust systems. There are dozens of polishing compounds on the market today to help remove the bluing caused by heat discoloration...and Corsair thinks it looks "cool?" 😖

The Corsair Team managed to make the Dominator Platinum SE heat spreader even more spectacular than before, trying to replicate the aesthetics of high performance car engines was their mission and they have succeeded big time. The black brushed aluminum heat spreader in combination with the heat treated top bar and them orange cooling fins make you immediately think of hot exhaust manifolds of an overcharged powerhouse.
