World’s Brightest Young Innovators Take Center Stage at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair

The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, a program of Society for Science & the Public and the world’s largest international pre-college science competition, will take place in Los Angeles from May 14-19. More than 1,700 high school students selected from 425 affiliate fairs in 78 countries, regions and territories will showcase cutting-edge research and inventions and compete for approximately $4 million in awards. The full list of finalists is available in the event program (starting on page 60). This year, 21 finalists are from the Los Angeles area. Maya Ajmera, president and CEO of Society for Science & the Public, and Rosalind Hudnell, Intel vice president of Corporate Affairs and president of the Intel Foundation, will be available for comment at the event.
