While I still need to upgrade / fix a few things, Hypothermia is running well. All the traffic from my readers is stressing the
site causing intermittent outages but that's actually a good problem to have.
Hopefully in the next few weeks I can land an advertiser or two to help pay the
bills but, in the mean time, I have my nose to the grindstone and my fingers
crossed.
On the subject of money, three weeks in and I am about halfway to my GoFundMe goal which, thanks to all of you, has allowed me to keep the
lights on so far. I can't thank all of you enough for the love and support.
There has been over 15,000 visits to my GoFundMe page and it has been shared on
Facebook 428 times.
My Patreon campaign is picking up as well. Doing the monthly giveaways
for Patreon supporters is a neat way of giving back and, if you actually think
about it, your odds of winning something are pretty damn good (currently 1 in
17 odds) for pledging $5 or more per month.
I'm still in need of a few things (Intel i7-7700K / Z270 motherboard) that I wouldn't mind doing some wheeling and dealing or trading for. Maybe a swap for a Titan X Maxwell or other hardware I have here in the bunker. Who knows? If you have a lead on hardware, hit me up.
Anyhow, that's the three week update. Still trying to get through the thousands of messages / email / calls. If I haven't responded yet, I sincerely apologize, I really am working on it.
